Who We Are
The Neuroverse Foundation is a non profit organisation, founded by Shae Williams and Lara Beltrame. Together with our board members we have created a foundation that offers connection, empowerment, inclusion and community to support carers of neurodivergent individuals to feel seen, heard and part of a village.
Founders
Shae Williams
Co-Founder, Chair and SecretaryShae is the Chairperson and Secretary of The Neuroverse Foundation. She has been trying to get this non-profit off the ground for almost two years.
Shae is autistic and ADHD and is a mum of two neurodivergent boys who are proudly Aboriginal Australians. She has been hosting a support group for parents/guardians of neurodivergent children. Shae felt that there was a gap in the Mitchell Shire and worked with Lara to offer support to neurodivergent families.
Shae is a primary school teacher and currently a Disability Inclusion Coordinator. She is passionate about equality for people living with disabilities and we are excited to see what Shae brings to the organisation.
Co-Founder, Deputy Chair and TreasurerLara Beltrame

Lara wears many hats including, mother of two children (one who is neurodivergent), primary school teacher, Certified Play Therapist, Certified Facilitator of LEGO Based Therapy and Sole Trader.
Lara brings a unique perspective to our organisation from her expertise and lived experience and we are thrilled to have her as part of our foundational team!
